WHO WE ARE

Rudnev S.A. (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1971 as a joint venture between Michael J. Rudnev Ltd of Australia and R.J. Southey (Pty) Ltd to supply and install Rudnev’s then unique panel for cold storage.

This panel has a rigid thermosetting glue line and is produced on a continuous roll press, the only limit to the length of a panel being the length of the transport vehicle.

In 1976 R.J. Southey (Pty) Ltd bought back the Australian interest in Rudnev S.A. (Pty) Ltd, making it a wholly owned South African Company without any royalty obligation.

Over the years the company has integrated international concepts in cold store construction, which are now standard practice.

Our manufacturing plant is located in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We have branches in Kwazulu Natal, based in Mount Edgecombe and Gauteng, based in Centurion. As a member of Southey Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Rudnev is able to operate throughout Southern Africa and within various countries and islands across Africa. This also offers us the advantage of substantial resources and prestige of a well-established parent company, which has allowed export projects to increase significantly over the past years.

No installation is either too big or too small. Rudnev’s competent and experienced installation crews are well trained and equipped to handle projects of any shape or size.
